Fight Like a Girl

Recently I had the opportunity to do some pro bono work for a sweet event, the Fight Like a Girl Tournament. FLAG is a fundraising event to support breast and cervical cancer research. Says event co-founder Kari Toyama,

“This tournament started as a simple idea to get a girl out of having to bake cookies to raise money for breast cancer research. Some girls just can’t bake. Some girls however, can shoot enemies all day and night from the comfort of their home.”

Hence the idea of an online Halo Tournament over Xbox Live. You gotta love the creativity! Gamers of the world unite!

I created a new logo for the event, plus a very custom WordPress site, a flyer, and a small pack of Halo themed social media icons for free download. Unfortunately the site is no longer live (the event’s in its 4^th year, go support them!), but you can enjoy these screenshots.
